Cordova Canyon is a wonderful neighborhood with 516 single family homes nestled in rolling hills in South Mission Viejo. This area boasts a greenbelt that stretches from one end of the tract to the other, a large park and an Elementary/Middle school located within the tract boundaries. One of the best features of this tract is its close proximity to the I5 freeway, Mission Hospital, The Shops At Mission Viejo, and shopping in Ladera Ranch. Cordova Canyon is conveniently located in the center of South Orange County, just 10 miles to Dana Pt. Harbor and 10 miles to the Irvine Spectrum.
Cordova Canyon was built by the Mission Viejo Company. The first homes were sold in 1975 offering 4 floor plans with square footages ranging from 950 to 1472 sq ft. A total of ten phases were released.
Most Realtors select an area they "Specialize" in. When I was searching for that perfect area to focus on, Cordova Canyon was the obvious choice.
I have lived in Mission Viejo for 38 years. My family moved here when I was just a baby, there was no Lake Mission Viejo, only a few hundred homes, and a lot of undeveloped rolling hills. In 1980, my parents moved us to Cordova Canyon where I did most of my "growing up." I attended Hankey Elementary, Capo Valley High School, and Saddleback College. (Newhart wasn't built yet so I went to Niguel Hills Jr. High.) Even though I have moved out of my parents home to Ladera Ranch with my wife and 5 kids, I will always remember that house on Benisa where I grew up and had many wonderful memories.
My goal is to keep the Cordova residents updated and informed about the Real Estate Market. I would be honored to help you with your real estate transactions. Please feel free to contact me if you have any questions or comments.
